Leg Warmers Are Great For Development
I originally started searching for baby leg warmers when my daughter received a pair as a gift. Baby legwarmers?! I had never seen such a thing. What an adorable idea. I quickly did a search of my local stores and came up empty handed. I couldn’t find them anywhere so I did a search online. I came across babylegs.com and quickly fell in love with the huge selection of leg warmers.
Once my baby was starting to crawl I ordered her a few pairs. We lived in an apartment with hardwood floors and I didn’t want the hard surface to hurt her knees. She loved them! It was much easier for her to move her legs in the leg warmers than it was for her to move them in pants. Wanting her to be warm and have her legs protected leg warmers were the perfect option. Once we tried the baby leg warmers she’s switched to skirts or no bottoms at all. I can’t tell you how convenient it is to change diapers when your little one is only in a onesie!

She learned to crawl quickly and has moved onto cruising and standing alone. I recently went on a trip with my 9 month old daughter. We were flying from a warm climate to a very cold one and I was unsure of how to dress her for the flight. I wanted to pack lightly so I wouldn’t have a bunch of baggage to worry about and extra items to lose. This is where my baby legwarmers came in so handy.
They are so easy to slip into your diaper bag or purse and you can easily fit two pairs. I decided to dress in her one pair and pack another that I could throw on her arms in case the flight was cold. When I was pregnant and found out I would be having a girl, flashes of beautiful leopard print jackets and gingham dresses flashed before my eyes. My baby girl was so cute, so full of style and not wearing once tiny smidgen of pink. Unfortunately makers of girls baby clothes don’t seem to share my vision. I’d say 80% of the clothing made for infant girls is pink. Sweet soft baby pink. Yuk.
Once I started shopping for her, I was able to find pices here and there that were in beautiful colors like turquiose, purple and gasp black! Unless you want to drop 10k at baby gap on black and white fashionable baby clothes your going to have to get creative. So I started buying seperates like I would for myself so I could mix and match outfits. But some of them seemed so boring, since most were only available in solids. That’s when I found babylegs and an obsession was born.
There is a huge selection of colors and prints available for baby leg warmers. They even make them for boys. I purchased a few pairs and was immediately hooked. Now outfits that would have seemed plain or even boyish became stylish and oh so cute. I can’t tell you how many compliments she gets when we are out and about. I love that I can take the same outfit and make it look new just by using a different pair of leg warmers and accessories.
